Twenty years in one city, one discipline

We started building websites for Kolkata businesses in 2005. We are now forty-two people building the web layer, the software spine and the data platforms that manufacturers, hospitals, developers and brands across eastern India run on. The city has not changed. The scope has.

The honest version

How we ended up doing all four

We did not set out to be a data engineering firm. We set out to build websites, and we were good at it. What changed the business was a recurring conversation with clients who had a working website and a problem the website could not touch.

A distributor whose site produced enquiries that then took three days to become orders, because someone re-typed them into Tally. A hospital whose booking flow worked and whose claim rejections were costing more than a consultant. A cement group whose corporate site we had built asking, almost in passing, whether we could do anything about the four hours their EOD report took every morning.

Each of those pulled us one layer deeper — into software, then into data, then into automation. Not because it was a strategy but because the client had the problem and nobody else locally would take it on. Twenty years later that is the practice: four layers under one roof, because in almost every project we have shipped, the value was in the seam between two of them.

We are still, fundamentally, an engineering company that happens to design well. Not a marketing agency that also codes.

What we are not

Not a reseller — we take no commission from any platform, cloud or tool we recommend.
Not a template shop — every layout is drawn for the specific content and argument of that page.
Not a body shop — we sell outcomes, not seats, and we say so when a scope is wrong.
Not a lock-in business — you own the code, the infrastructure and the domains from day one.
How it grew

Twenty years, layer by layer

Each capability was added because a client had a problem and nobody else locally would take it on.

How we operate

Six things we hold to, including when it costs us

These are not aspirations printed on a wall. Each one has cost us work at least once, which is how you know they are real.

01

Say the uncomfortable thing early

That the scope is wrong, that a package would serve you better than a build, that the timeline makes quality impossible. We lose some work this way and keep clients for a decade.

02

Own it outright, always

Code in your Git organisation, infrastructure in your cloud account, domains in your name, documentation written for the next team. No lock-in has ever been part of our commercial model.

03

Measure, then claim

Every number on this site comes from a delivered project. We record a baseline before we build so improvement can be proven rather than asserted.

04

Nothing ships unreviewed

A named senior engineer reads every line before it merges, including — especially — the lines a machine wrote first.

05

Design for the person doing the work

A screen that is slower than the register it replaces gets bypassed. We time processes with a stopwatch before rollout rather than training harder afterwards.

06

Be reachable

A named engineer on WhatsApp, an eleven-minute median first response, and a phone number that a person answers. Twenty years and we have never used a ticket queue as a shield.

The team

Forty-two people across four disciplines

Grown deliberately slowly — four to six people a year — because hiring faster than you can maintain a standard is how agencies become inconsistent.

What clients say

Twenty years of the same kind of feedback

They spent two days on our shop floor before drawing anything. The screens they came back with had fields in the order we actually fill them, which no vendor had ever managed before.

The EOD report used to reach us at eleven in the morning and we spent an hour arguing about the numbers. It now arrives before we do and nobody argues, because every figure traces back to the tag.

Two previous agencies sold us blog packages and backlinks and nothing moved. These people fixed the technical problems first, rewrote six pages properly, and we went from eleven organic enquiries a month to thirty-eight.

What people ask about us

Including where we would honestly recommend somebody else.

Forty-two people as of 2026, across web engineering, software, data engineering, AI, design and operations. We have grown deliberately slowly — roughly four to six people a year — because the alternative is hiring faster than we can maintain a standard, which is how agencies become inconsistent.

Named people, introduced before you sign. Every engagement has a senior engineer who owns the architecture and is accountable for what ships, and you meet them on the first call rather than after the contract. We do not run a model where a sales team wins work and an unnamed delivery team executes it.

For a large enterprise programme with a global footprint, you probably should not — a firm of our size is not the right answer for a multi-country SAP rollout. Where we win is mid-market work that needs genuine engineering depth and senior attention: the person designing your data model has fifteen years of experience and will still be reachable in year three.

For a small, well-defined piece of work, a good freelancer is often the better commercial choice and we will say so. We become the better choice when the work carries real weight — a system your operations depend on, data that has to be right, or something that must be maintained for years. What you buy is a team that does not disappear, documentation, and accountability.

We do not build on nulled or resold themes. We do not buy backlinks or promise rankings that would require risky tactics. We do not take work where the only success metric offered is "make it look nice". We do not use AI-generated code without human review in systems handling payments, health data or plant control. And we decline timelines that make quality impossible rather than accepting them and disappointing you later.

Yes — roughly a third of our current work is elsewhere in India, and we have delivered for clients in fourteen countries. Everything runs on the same cadence regardless: a demo every alternate Friday on a real staging URL, written notes after every call, and a named engineer reachable on WhatsApp.
