Web and software development for Dubai businesses
Dubai moves faster than any market we serve and expects the same speed back. The ninety-minute time difference is what makes that possible: you are not waiting overnight for answers, you are getting them in the same hour.
Dubai is a trading city before it is anything else. Beneath the property and hospitality headlines sits an enormous base of small and mid-sized trading companies, distributors, freight forwarders and family businesses, most of them running real operational complexity on spreadsheets and a shared drive.
That is the work we are most useful for, and it is not what most Dubai web agencies sell. The market here is saturated with suppliers offering websites and marketing, and comparatively thin on anyone who will build the system that tells a trading company what its margin actually was on a shipment.
The second thing that shapes Dubai engagements is speed of decision. A brief sent on Sunday morning that gets a scoped response by Monday will usually convert. The same brief answered on Thursday will not, because the buyer has moved on. We staff for that and respond within your working day rather than ours.
A large share of Dubai business owners are Indian-origin and already understand Indian delivery, so the conversation is rarely about whether offshore works. It is about whether this supplier is competent, which is a better question and one we would rather answer.
The Dubai sectors we work in
Dubai enquiries move faster than any market we serve and expect the same speed back. A brief on Sunday morning that gets a scoped response by Monday will usually convert; one that gets a response on Thursday will not. A large share of buyers are Indian-origin business owners who already understand Indian delivery and are not evaluating the concept, only the supplier.
Areas and precincts we serve
Remote delivery, so geography inside Dubai makes no difference to what we can do. Listed because buyers ask.
Trading company systems, which is where the value is
The characteristic Dubai trading business imports from Asia, stores in Jebel Ali or a Deira warehouse, and sells across the GCC, Africa and the subcontinent on varying terms. The complexity is real and almost none of it is in a system.
Stock sits across multiple locations and sometimes multiple legal entities, and the number in the spreadsheet diverges from the shelf over a quarter. Purchasing happens in dollars, selling in dirhams and sometimes in the buyer currency, with exchange exposure nobody is tracking deliberately. Customer pricing and credit terms live in one person memory. And the margin on a consignment is known accurately only once everything has settled, which is weeks after the decisions that depended on it were made.
This is exactly what we have built repeatedly for Indian distributors and traders, and the commercial mechanics are close to identical. What differs is the free-zone and mainland entity structure, which affects how the data has to be segmented, and that is a design decision rather than a difficulty.
We replace one process at a time and run it in parallel for a full cycle before the old method stops. Slower than a single implementation and the reason these projects finish.
In practice
Every engagement starts with a conversation, not a proposal template.
Thirty minutes with a senior engineer. You leave with an architecture sketch and an honest cost range, whether or not you hire us.
Property, hospitality and the direct-booking case
Dubai property is a large and well-served market where the useful work is rarely a new website. It is the layer behind it: listing management, lead routing that gets an enquiry to an agent within seconds rather than minutes, and the integration between a CRM and whatever handles contracts and commission.
Hospitality has a sharper and more calculable problem. Aggregator commission on a Dubai hotel or serviced apartment operation is a substantial recurring cost, and a direct channel good enough that guests prefer it recovers part of it.
The arithmetic is worth doing before committing. An operation taking twelve hundred bookings a year at an average of nine hundred dirhams, paying fifteen per cent, is spending around a hundred and sixty thousand dirhams annually on commission. Shifting a quarter of that direct covers a good booking platform in the first year.
We would not advise leaving the aggregators, which remain a genuine discovery channel in a market where most visitors arrive from outside the region. The objective is to stop paying commission on repeat guests and on people who would have found you anyway.

Working at Dubai speed
Gulf Standard Time is ninety minutes behind India with no daylight saving. Our 09:30 to 19:30 IST day is 08:00 to 18:00 in Dubai: your entire working day.
That removes the structural problem in offshore engagements. There is no overnight lag, no batching of questions until the next call, and no substituting documentation for conversation. Daily standups happen at a normal hour for both sides. A bug found at ten is being worked on by five past.
The week differs slightly. The UAE runs Monday to Friday; we run Monday to Saturday. In practice that means we are working on Saturdays when you are not, which most clients treat as useful rather than awkward.
We also commit to responding within your working day rather than ours, which sounds obvious and is not how most offshore suppliers operate.

What we cost, and what we will not claim
Dubai agency pricing reflects Dubai costs: office rent in Business Bay or Media City, and salaries competing across the region. Indicative bands for original work with us.
No Business Bay address
A great many offshore suppliers list a Dubai virtual office to appear established and to rank in local map results. We have no UAE trade licence, no office and no local representative, and we will not register an address we have never occupied. If a UAE-registered counterparty is a hard procurement requirement, we cannot meet it and will say so in the first call.
| Project | Dubai agency | With us |
|---|---|---|
| Business site, 6-12 pages | AED 15,000 - 40,000 | AED 2,300 - 5,500 |
| Corporate site with CMS | AED 40,000 - 120,000 | AED 5,500 - 18,000 |
| eCommerce storefront | AED 35,000 - 150,000 | AED 4,500 - 22,000 |
| Trading or inventory system | AED 150,000 - 600,000 | AED 20,000 - 130,000 |
| Direct booking platform | AED 60,000 - 250,000 | AED 8,000 - 40,000 |
8 hours a day where we are both at a desk
This is the closest working relationship we have with any overseas market. Gulf Standard Time is just an hour and a half behind India and there is no daylight saving, so our 09:30-19:30 IST day covers 08:00-18:00 in Dubai almost exactly. Your entire working day sits inside ours. Live calls happen at normal hours for both sides, daily standups are trivial, and a question asked at eleven in the morning is answered within minutes rather than tomorrow.
Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection
The federal PDPL follows GDPR principles closely: lawful basis, purpose limitation, data minimisation and conditions on cross-border transfer. Free zones complicate it usefully rather than badly, since DIFC and ADGM operate their own data protection regimes that are in several respects more mature than the federal one. If your entity sits in DIFC or ADGM, tell us at the outset because the applicable regime and therefore the contract differs.

What Dubai buyers ask
We will tell you in the first conversation if we are a poor fit for what you are describing, including when the time difference makes us the wrong choice.
A corporate site with a CMS typically runs AED 40,000 to 120,000 from a Dubai agency and AED 5,500 to 18,000 with us. A business site of six to twelve pages is AED 15,000 to 40,000 locally against AED 2,300 to 5,500. Indicative bands for original work, not quotations, and integration with systems you already run is the largest variable.
It barely exists. Gulf Standard Time is ninety minutes behind India with no daylight saving on either side, so our 09:30 to 19:30 IST day covers 08:00 to 18:00 in Dubai: your whole working day. Daily standups, live code review and pairing are all practical, which is not true of most offshore relationships.
No. We have no UAE trade licence, no office and no local representative, and we will not list a virtual office address to appear in local search. Every engineer is in Kolkata. If a UAE-registered counterparty is a hard procurement requirement for you, we cannot meet it.
It is our strongest fit here. Multi-location and multi-entity stock, multi-currency purchase and sale, customer-specific pricing and credit terms, and consignment margin known only after settlement are problems we have solved repeatedly for Indian distributors. The mechanics are close to identical; the free-zone and mainland entity structure is a design decision rather than a difficulty.
Usually, and the arithmetic is worth doing first. An operation taking twelve hundred bookings a year averaging nine hundred dirhams and paying fifteen per cent spends around a hundred and sixty thousand dirhams annually on commission. Moving a quarter direct covers a good platform in year one. We would not advise leaving the aggregators, since most Dubai visitors arrive from outside the region.
