Offshore engineering for the UK, Australia and the Cayman Islands

Twenty years of web, software and data engineering, quoted in your currency and structured around the hours we genuinely share. We have one office and it is in Kolkata, which we state plainly rather than implying otherwise.

Three markets, three completely different engagements

The timezone, the regulator, the currency and the commercial reality differ enough that treating these as one international offering would be misleading. Each has its own page because each is its own problem.

AustraliaAUDAustralian buyers are the most cost-aware of any market we serve, because local agency day rates are high and everyone knows it. The conversation here is rarely about whether offshore is cheaper. It is about whether it is manageable across a time difference, and whether the work will need redoing. ~3 hrs daily overlap Office of the Australian Information Commissioner 4 markets coveredRead the detail
United KingdomGBPThe UK is our most natural export market. The timezone overlap is generous, English is the working language on both sides, and British buyers are already comfortable with Indian engineering delivery in a way that needs no explanation. The competition is correspondingly heavy, so we compete on the quality of the engagement rather than on rate alone. ~5 hrs daily overlap Information Commissioner's Office 3 markets coveredRead the detail
Cayman IslandsKYDCayman is a small market with an unusually high concentration of sophisticated financial-services businesses and very few local software suppliers. That combination is the opposite of Sydney: low search volume, low competition, high deal value. It is the most winnable market on this list. ~1 hrs daily overlap Office of the Ombudsman, Cayman Islands 1 market coveredRead the detail
United Arab EmiratesAEDDubai and Abu Dhabi buy technology rather than build it. The region has enormous digital spend, a mandate from government to digitise, and comparatively little local development capacity, so almost everything is delivered by someone else. Indian studios have been the default answer for two decades and the time difference is the reason. ~8 hrs daily overlap UAE Data Office 3 markets coveredRead the detail
Saudi ArabiaSARSaudi ICT spending is projected to rise from roughly sixty-five billion dollars in 2026 to over one hundred billion by 2031 under Vision 2030, and local delivery capacity has not grown at anything like that rate. The gap is filled by offshore suppliers, predominantly Indian. The constraint that matters is data residency, not capability. ~7 hrs daily overlap Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) 2 markets coveredRead the detail
QatarQARA small, wealthy market with concentrated spending across energy, government, sport and hospitality infrastructure. Deal sizes are large relative to the population and local development capacity is thin, so almost everything is delivered from outside. ~7 hrs daily overlap National Cyber Security Agency 1 market coveredRead the detail
SingaporeSGDThe most demanding market in Asia and the one with the highest standards of process. Singapore buyers pay for reliability rather than for the lowest rate, ask harder questions about security than anyone except Sydney, and stay with a supplier who performs. Regional headquarters here frequently buy for operations across South East Asia. ~6 hrs daily overlap Personal Data Protection Commission 0 markets coveredRead the detail
Hong KongHKDA trading and financial market with a large base of import-export businesses, many family-owned, alongside the financial sector. The trading companies have the same operational problems as their Indian counterparts and buy pragmatically; the financial firms buy like Singapore. ~6 hrs daily overlap Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data 0 markets coveredRead the detail
MalaysiaMYRA mid-cost market with a substantial manufacturing, palm oil, electronics and logistics base, and a growing eCommerce sector. Budgets are lower than Singapore and expectations more pragmatic. English is widely used in business, which removes the friction that makes Indonesia and Thailand harder for us. ~6 hrs daily overlap Department of Personal Data Protection (JPDP) 1 market coveredRead the detail
BahrainBHDThe most open and least bureaucratic Gulf market, historically a financial centre and now positioning on cloud and fintech. Small, but the ease of doing business and the willingness to adopt cloud make engagements straightforward. ~7 hrs daily overlap Personal Data Protection Authority 0 markets coveredRead the detail
KuwaitKWDA wealthy market with a large trading and contracting sector and a government digitisation programme that has moved more slowly than its neighbours. Competition from international suppliers is lighter here than in Dubai or Riyadh. ~7 hrs daily overlap Communication and Information Technology Regulatory Authority 0 markets coveredRead the detail
OmanOMRA smaller Gulf market built on logistics, ports, tourism and a diversification programme away from hydrocarbons. Less saturated with international suppliers than the UAE, and correspondingly easier to win work in relative to its size. ~8 hrs daily overlap Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology 0 markets coveredRead the detail
United StatesUSDThe deepest and most competitive offshore buyer market anywhere, and the one most accustomed to Indian delivery. American buyers do not need the model explained and are not evaluating whether it works. They are evaluating communication, reliability and whether the code will be maintainable by someone else, and they decide on evidence rather than on rate. ~4 hrs daily overlap State attorneys general; FTC; sector regulators 5 markets coveredRead the detail

The practical differences

The single most useful thing to know before engaging an offshore supplier is how much of the working day you actually share. It determines the whole shape of the engagement.

How we work internationally

What we will and will not claim about overseas delivery

The offshore development industry has a credibility problem and it is largely self-inflicted. A great many suppliers list virtual offices as local premises, publish addresses they have never visited, and describe themselves as having a presence in a dozen countries when they have staff in one. It shows up in map results, it misleads buyers, and it is the reason a competent offshore supplier now has to spend the first conversation distinguishing itself from that behaviour.

So we state it plainly. We have one office, at 9R Munshi Bazar Road in Sealdah, Kolkata. Every engineer is there. Every engagement is delivered from there. We will not register a virtual address in London, Sydney or George Town to appear in local search, because it would be a Google policy violation, in several of these jurisdictions a consumer protection issue, and in all of them a lie to a prospective client.

What we will claim is specific and checkable. We invoice in your currency. We know how many hours of your working day we genuinely share, and we structure the engagement around that number rather than around a sales promise. We sign the data transfer instrument your jurisdiction requires rather than treating it as a formality. And we will tell you when we are the wrong supplier, which most often happens when a project needs somebody physically present or reachable during hours we are not working.

The corollary is that you should hold any offshore supplier to the same standard. Ask where their engineers actually are. Ask how many hours of overlap you will genuinely have. Ask what data transfer instrument they sign and whether they have completed a transfer risk assessment before. The answers separate suppliers faster than any portfolio review.

What you can hold us to

  • One office, in Kolkata. No virtual addresses, no claimed local presence.
  • Invoiced in your currency, staged against milestones.
  • The real overlap stated before you commit, not after.
  • IDTA, APP 8 or Cayman DPA handled properly rather than waved through.
  • We say when we are the wrong supplier for what you are describing.

Enquiries now arrive with specifications already attached

Our previous website had a stock photograph and a paragraph about commitment to quality. It brought us nothing in four years. Sayak spent two days on our shop floor before drawing anything, and what they built lists our machine capacities, tolerance ranges and certifications in a way a purchasing officer can actually evaluate. The change was not in the number of enquiries so much as in their quality — people now call having already decided we can do the job, so the conversation starts at commercial terms.

They talked us out of half of what we asked for

We went in with a long list of features we were certain we needed. They built roughly half of it and explained clearly why the rest would be maintained forever and used by nobody. Six months on they were right about every item. The store is fast on phones, which matters because that is where almost all of our traffic comes from, and our team updates the catalogue ourselves without calling anyone.

Parallel running for a full month meant nobody had to trust it blind

Replacing a system a clinic depends on is frightening, and most vendors we spoke to proposed a weekend cutover. Sayak ran the new system alongside our registers for a full month and only switched once the numbers matched every day. Our front desk staff were part of the design rather than being trained at the end, which is why they actually use it. Report preparation that took a person most of a morning now takes minutes.

Questions

What overseas buyers ask first

Call or WhatsApp +91 70033 91355. We answer during Indian working hours and read messages first thing, which for most of our overseas clients means a reply is waiting when they start.

No. We have one office, at 9R Munshi Bazar Road, Sealdah, Kolkata, and every engagement is delivered from it. We will not list a virtual office or coworking address as an overseas place of business. Suppliers who do that to appear in local map results are breaching Google policy and, in several of these jurisdictions, consumer protection law. If a local presence is a genuine requirement, we are not the right supplier.

Formally, the United Kingdom, Australia and the Cayman Islands, alongside our Indian client base. These are the markets where we have done the work to understand the commercial reality, the data-protection regime and the practical timezone constraints. We take enquiries from elsewhere, but we will tell you honestly if we have not served that market before rather than implying we have.

Pounds sterling for UK clients, Australian dollars for Australia, US or Cayman dollars for the Cayman Islands, and rupees for India. Payment is by bank transfer, Wise, or card against invoice, staged against milestones rather than taken in advance. We invoice from India, so local sales tax is not charged on our fees, though you may have reverse-charge obligations depending on your jurisdiction and position.

Differently for each market, because the constraint differs enormously. The UK shares about five hours with us, which supports daily calls and live code review. Australia shares about three, which supports one substantial weekly call plus written handovers. The Cayman Islands share roughly one, so those engagements run asynchronously by design. We tell you which model applies before you commit.

It can be, with the right safeguard, and the requirement differs by jurisdiction. UK transfers need the International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum plus a transfer risk assessment. Australian transfers engage Privacy Principle 8, under which you remain accountable for what we do. Cayman follows a GDPR-modelled regime. For most builds the cleanest answer is that we do not need production personal data at all, and we propose developing against anonymised or synthetic datasets by default.

Yes, and it is a large share of our UK and Australian work. You keep the client, the brief and the commercial terms. We work inside your repository to your conventions and deliver under your brand, appearing nowhere unless you want us to. The non-solicitation is a contract term rather than an assurance.
