Why manufacturers should usually not start with a website
A significant share of Pune manufacturing enquiries arrive asking for a new website, and in most cases we suggest something else first, which costs us the larger visible project and is the right advice.
The reason is arithmetic. For an automotive supplier that is a genuine risk, because a buyer who cannot evaluate your capacity, tolerances and certifications from your site will shortlist someone they can.

What being near you actually changes
Proximity is easy to claim and harder to demonstrate, so it is worth being specific about where it makes a measurable difference. It matters most in discovery. A specification written from a video call describes what people say they do; a day spent watching the work describes what they actually do, and those are rarely the same document. Almost every scope we have revised for the better was revised after someone stood beside the process.
It matters again at rollout. Adoption of a new system depends far more on being in the room during the first week than on the quality of the training material.
